  • I forgot to mention that until he was post-puberty, my son 'looked' normal. Until someone tried to engage him in conversation, or he started rocking because he was anxious, or had other behaviors that were noticeable.

  • I am so grateful that most of the people commenting were not blessed with a child who is disabled. You will never realize the contribution that they make to society, because it is not financial. My son probably taught me more than I have been able to teach him.
